Google Smart Goggle
I read a very interesting article today about "Google Smart Goggle". Very Whacky!! and toungue twisting isnt it...well read on- Smart Goggle, which a team of Japanese scientists claim can help search anything from a remote control, to mobile phone or iPod at home...How about my wife :). Wow now thats cool, I definately need this.
How does it work? Volla its Artificial Intelligence! A small camera rests on the glasses making constant record of everything the wearer sees. According to the scientists, one just needs to tell the glasses what he or she is searching for. Following the voice command, the Smart Goggle plays into their eye a video of the last few seconds they saw that missing item.
It's a really Ultimate gadget from Star Wars. Now what i was thinking is where do i get it from.. ...................

New Car launches in India 2008 — which one fulfils my Dzire?
My search for a new sedan is on….there is a buzz in the market about
I am really excited about this launch as I drove the esteem for 8 years! Bought one drove for 4 years …this was the one without the Power steering, bought another with the Power Steering and drove that for 4 years…I just didn’t want to let go of Esteem…it was responsive, looked cool, I had an assurance of being serviced anywhere in India and added advantage of being low on maintenance. Maruti Swift Dzire looks very exciting. I quite like the name…I haven’t come across a better marketer and a customer focussed automotive company like Maruti. So my list of choices include

Where are the new age Ultracompact PCs headed?
I have been reading a lot about the ultracompact PCs. The speed at which PCs are converging with phones is simply amazing. Just sharing with you an excerpt from an article i read at Computerworld. This will give you an idea of where these small devices are headed.
Call them whatever you want: ultramobile PCs (UMPC), mobile information devices (MID) or subnotebooks. I call them small PCs, and they are almost indistinguishable from a good smart phone.
For example, the BlackBerry 8820, with its built-in GPS capability and excellent e-mail client, is a better device than the Samsung Q1 Ultra, described by the company as an "ultramobile personal computer." The only real difference is that you squint less with the Q1. But most people don't use a Q1 for gaming or writing long business documents.
As Jon Stewart pointed out at the Oscars, small-screen video is not fun on a device such as the iPhone.
The Apple iPhone is a smarter, sexier, more usable computer than just about any MID, such as the new Toshiba prototype. Meanwhile, there's more power in the OQO, than a regular UMPC, but the screen is just as tiny. I figure that in less than three years, Apple will release a successor to the iPhone that works more like a Mac and will become the first company to make a true pocket computer -- one that runs any Mac OS X application natively, with a mini-DVI port.
Will keep updating as i find more news regarding the same. Till then take care.
Honda City — Just not happening
Another day goes by…I travel quite a bit from
The car fails at all levels. The seating is rather uncomfortable as I can’t see how close the next vehicle is. The performance is also something that I am not happy about. Coming down from a 105 bhp car, my current model has 77 bhp. It lacks the response and rev that one enjoys on the Highways. I hate the console…the instrumental panel is so dated… I guess it needs a Change.
I want Cool looks inline with the present genre design trends, revving performance that can take the Likes of the Mercedes and

Swift Dzire..........Is this the car you are looking for?
I managed to find some more facts about Swift Dzire. One of the blogs said that Swift DZire is expected to be offered in both petrol and diesel engine variants, a new-generation 1.3-litre multi–jet diesel engine in a 1.3-litre petrol variant. Plus it will have a wider rear section. I think they are positioning it as a stylish family car. If it clicks, it will definitely take on the upcoming next generation Indigo with its features and price. Also, the diesel variant will give Maruti the edge over the Indigo and Hyundai’s diesel variants.
Do let me know your views on the car?

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Swift Dzire seems to be the coolest car to hit Indian roads. The new car has given a facelift to Maruti’s image as a car maker which also cares about style and looks. Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL) is now adding a new dimension to its image: it can also manufacture cars which are stylish, have contemporary look and cater to the aspirations of consumers. “Swift Dzire”, Maruti’s new car to hit the Indian roads end of this month, is the beginning of this new makeover.
I am really passionate about the interior of this car and the great look combination.
So, what do you think about this sporty Swift Dzire....I am waiting for your opinions to make my choice......

It is still a long way to go for India.
What Happens When Fashion And Technology Meets?
I read this article on one of the website and decided to share it with you all.
WHEN technology meets elegance—and all in the name of fashion—then you can be assured it’s the “Art of Natori.” That, by the way, is also the name of a coffee table tome that the lady herself describes as “a subtle expression of a lifestyle, a sense of aesthetics and the discipline that has inspired my life’s work in business and the arts.”
As it happens that was also the title of the fashion show that Josie Natori—who has excelled at the global level in the twin worlds of banking and business—staged last Friday in aid of the Asian Cultural Council Philippines Foundation, which raises funds in support of the local arts community.
Bringing the technology element to the event was telecom market leader Nokia, a co-presenter of the gala bash in a further exposition of its corporate social responsibility credentials. And as a special collaboration, Nokia invited Natori to design the elegant pouch for the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte, which ladies of discerning taste can use as a fitting accessory.
“Nokia believes in the talent and integrity of the global Filipino—exemplified by Josie Natori and we are honored to be part of this cause-oriented event,” said William Hamilton-Whyte, general manager, Nokia Philippines. He added: “The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte shares Josie’s exquisite passion for art and eye for detailing as it embraces luxury in craftsmanship.”
Like the Natori brand that has been in existence for almost three decades, the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte captures the essence of timeless beauty and fine craftsmanship. Materials are of the finest quality, which include exquisite leather and precious stones. The select key for example is made from sapphire.
The Art of Natori is composed of many “icons.” One of the most important Natori icons is the dragon. For the black satin phone pouch, Josie chose to embroider the dragon in a circular motif. The symbolic meaning of the dragon, which represents “strength,” is made even stronger when put into the circular motif—“the eternal circle.”
By choosing the dragon icon, Natori combines the strength of two great brands in a Natori/Nokia collaboration.
Despite being based in New York and running a global empire with her Japanese husband Ken (they met when she was VP of investment banking at Merrill Lynch and he was MD of Smith Barney) Natori has never lost touch with her Filipino roots.
Almost 50 percent of her luxury collection is manufactured here. But as she laments: “The craftsmanship in the Philippines is so special and unique, but not fully appreciated in the Philippines itself.”
Of her switch from banking to fashion she explains: “The novelty of investment banking has begun to wear off. I just wasn’t challenged anymore. I knew there must be something else.”
That “something else” manifested itself when a Filipino friend sent her some hand-embroidered blouses from home and she showed them to a buyer at Bloomingdale’s. At the buyer’s suggestion Natori lengthened them and turned them into nightshirts. They were such a hit that within a week she had set up shop in her midtown Manhattan living room—and the rest, as they say, is fashion history.
Natori’s work reflects her sublime appreciation for what is beautiful and elegant, and executed to the highest standards. “Natori” after all, is a Japanese word for highest form of art—but, through Josie, rooted firmly to the Philippines.
I think you'll like this news. If you have any feedback then send it to me as comments.
Bye for Now.....
