I managed to find some more facts about Swift Dzire. One of the blogs said that Swift DZire is expected to be offered in both petrol and diesel engine variants, a new-generation 1.3-litre multi–jet diesel engine in a 1.3-litre petrol variant. Plus it will have a wider rear section. I think they are positioning it as a stylish family car. If it clicks, it will definitely take on the upcoming next generation Indigo with its features and price. Also, the diesel variant will give Maruti the edge over the Indigo and Hyundai’s diesel variants.
